Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Credit- based on active participation in lessons, regular attendance together with registration in the attendance list (two unexcused participations are allowed). One credit is granted in accordance with the Directive No. 17/2019 concerning the teaching of Physical Education.

Course curriculum

Tennis rules and scoring system, mastering backhand, forhand, volley, service, return, footwork, offence and defence tactics etc.

Aims

Learning advanced rules of the game and the correct technique of the basic/advanced tennis strokes and game combinations.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Controlled attendance, registration of attendance in the attendance sheets. Active participation in the lessons. Two unexcused absences are allowed. Excuse personally or by email, the latest 24 hours after your scheduled activity. Compensation for absence within other tennis lessons after the previous consultation with the teacher. Another option of compensation is in the block tuition (May and June), or participation in courses and sport events or workshops organized by CESA.
