Příspěvek pojednává o základních vlastnostech austenitických niklových litin, jako je chemické složení, mechanické vlastnosti, vliv chemického složení na mechanické vlastnosti a také použití těchto materiálů. Zmíněny jsou i základní metalurgické problémy spojené s výrobou austenitických litin, jimiž je zajištění austenitické matrice a vznik chunky grafitu. Krátce je shrnuta i problematika opravného svařování, tepelného zpracování a nedestruktivních zkoušek vyrobených odlitků z austenitických litin.

The paper deals with the basic properties of austenitic nickel cast irons, such as chemical composition, mechanical properties, the effect of chemical composition on the mechanical properties and the use of these materials. Mentioned are the basic metallurgical problems associated with the production of austenitic cast irons, which are to ensure the austenitic matrix and the formation of chunky graphite. Briefly is summarized the issue of corrective welding, heat treatment and non-destructive testing of castings made from austenitic cast irons.
