Original Abstract

The article is focused on solid particle flow measurement by acoustic emission method. The solid particle impacts a waveguide and generates an impulse acoustic emission. It is possible to obtain information about parameters of impacting particles (e.g. specific mass, velocity, dimensions). The main focus of the article is a confirmation of model based on Hertz theory of impact. From performed measurements was created a model that was subsequently this model was compared with theoretical model. The models are similar, but further measurements will be necessary.
