Original Abstract

In the last years the potential use of special organic polymers for the construction of electronic devices has stimulated considerable interest. Polymers offer good processability (fabrication of planar structures), easy modification of mechanical, optical and electrical properties and low cost. The important parameters of materials suitable for electronic devices are the optoelectronic properties. Therefore the detailed studies of physical processes, in particular those of the photoconductivity, charge carrier photoionization, carrier injection, charge transport and recombination in selected conjugated polymers was done. The proposed contribution summarized our experiences with the optoelectronic characterization of selected polymers.
