Original Abstract

In this contribution, the interactions of Cu2+ ions with humic acids in form of gel are studied. This process includes diffusion of Cu2+ ions in humic gel and chemical reaction. The method of one-dimensional diffusion from medium with the constant concentration into a plane sheet is used for determination of diffusion coefficients. The influence of initial concentration on the total diffusion flux is also studied and discussed. The summary second order reaction is used for description of reaction kinetics. The effective rate constants are determined from conductometry and potentiometry measurements. On the basis of knowledge of initial and boundary conditions the possibilities of using of analytical and numerical solutions of diffusion with chemical reaction in humic gel is discussed.
