Original Abstract

The contribution is focused on evaluation of the addi-tional earthing of the faulted phase during a ground fault in compensated distribution network, especially in a case of low-impedance and arcing ground fault. The paper presents detailed theoretical anylyses of negative effect of the me-thod. There are also presented an analysis of the situation and real experiments in an MV/LV distribution transform-ing substation during the ground fault to evaluation of the theory and computer simulations
