Original Abstract

This paper describes steps involved in a development and implementation of the new type of user multi-factor authentication based on the classical three-factor authentication extended by the position information and time. The objectives of our applied research are new methods used for users authentication process and implementation into current corporate networks based on the Microsoft Active Directory network services through the newest authentication interface for Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows7 operation systems. Main advantages of this new approach to users authentication uses five different factors for users identification and provides more secured access control layer for current corporate networks with Microsoft Active Directory with only small implementation costs.
