Original Abstract

The paper presents the analysis of the oblique load of the hip joint ceramic head pressed onto the tested stem. The system FEM – ANSYS was used for the computational modelling of the stress and deformation of the analysed system. The maximum tensile stresses in the head without the production inaccuracies of the contact areas are for the ISO 7206-5 loading.
