Článek popisuje současnou situaci v oblasti zpracování CO2 a definuje nové trendy v této problematice.

English abstract

The aim of this paper is to show the possibilities of decreasing the CO2 emissions from the technological processes. Several fundamental methods of CO2 separation are described as well as the possibilities of subsequent processing. Also the possibilities of CO2 sequestration within the Hodonin power plant are described in this paper. A part of the paper gives a slight view of the possibilities of alternative power sources utilization and its influence on the production of electric energy but mainly on the CO2 emissions.
