Original Abstract

In the presented paper, the novel modification of the linearly tapered slot-line antenna array is described. The antenna array was designed for terahertz spectroscopy application. The method of molecular spectroscopy uses the frequencies above 50 GHz, nominally about 300 to 600 GHz.The main problem of this application is a design of the directive middle-gain antenna for this frequency range. In the current spectroscope, the horn antennas were used. The main problem of the antenna is the insufficient wideband frequency range and antennas must be changed in dependency of operation frequency.
