Original Abstract

The subject "Heat Transfer Processes" belongs to fundamentals of Process Engineering. It is focused on principal systems and equipment for heat transfer including theoretical background. Solutions take also into account industrial priorities such as environmental protection and ecological aspects, decreasing of energy consumption, emissions reductions and economic operation. Conception of the subject contains among other also teaching modules obtained from international projects solved together with world reputable universities. Well arranged lectures in Power-point presentation format accompanied with a number of useful solved examples (also available in Maple code) guarantee a high level for e-learning. Furthermore, theory obtained from this subject is put into practise by solving a real project, i.e. an industrial heat exchanger design.
