Original Abstract

This article deals with advantages and possibilities of predictive noninvasive methods for induction machine diagnostics and it is focused on analysis of leakage magnetic field. The article describes reasons of current state of the diagnostic development and it presents some of achieved results. The analysis is focused on a relation between an eccentricity of rotor (including bearings) and deformation of external magnetic field of induction motor. Information about this problem is derived from four sources. The first one is theoretical contemplation, the second one computer model using FEM, third one measurement of eccentricity by drift meter and at last measurement of external magnetic field using a Hall probe. This article doesn’t deal with exact analysis of specific motor, but it shows a principle of eccentricity determination by measurement of external magnetic field.
