Original Abstract

This paper describes the design of a higher order analog filter with current operational amplifiers. The design is based on the second canonic state variable structure. As an example, fourth order Cauer low-pass filter is designed. The optimization of its dynamic properties is demonstrated. The computer modelling is used to confirm the correct functionality of the filter and to analyze the influence of active elements real parameters on the frequency characteristic.
