Original Abstract

Spheroidal graphite cast iron (ADI V austempered ductile iron) - perspective constructional material for automobile industry and spare parts of agricultural machines. ADI V isothermally treated at temperatures 250 up to 380 C during 30 up to 240 min. Investigation of structure by X V ray diffraction analysis. Cooling curves of spheroidal graphite cast iron. Influence of temperature and isothermal holding time on hardness and austenite content in structure. Influence of Mn and Cu content on reached structure of castings (experimental wedges). Influence of manganese and copper on basic mechanical properties of ductile cast iron. Achieved mechanical properties of experimentally cast wedges.
