Original Abstract

Článok sa zaoberá problematikou strát vírivými prúdmi v permanentných magnetoch synchrónnych strojov. Popisuje mechanizmus vzniku, chovanie a možné spôsoby indukcie vírivých prúdov. Boli použité štyri rôzne metódy výpočtu týchto strát. Okrem bežne používaných analytických a numerických prístupov boli vytvorené aj dva kombinované modely. Výsledky jednotlivých metód boli porovnané na geometrií reálneho motora.

English abstract

The paper deals with the permanent-magnet eddy-current losses evaluation in a surface mounted permanent magnet synchronous machines. The formation and behavior as well as the main sources of induction of the eddy currents are discussed. Four various eddy current loss calculation methods were tested. Except the traditional, analytic and finite element analysis (FEA) approaches, two combined methods were created. The results of all methods were compared using geometry of a real machine.
