Original Abstract

Employing ramp response signatures, an accurate time-domain radar imaging technique for the shape reconstruction of multiple targets is presented. Position-dependent imaging errors are discussed and analyzed. In particular, the impact of both targets’ size and constitutive properties on the imaging errors is studied in detail. To increase the accuracy and eliminate the errors of the final target’s image, a dedicated approach is proposed and subsequently validated on a number of illustrative examples. It is demonstrated that the proposed approach leads to more accurate results without introducing additional computational complexity.
