Original Abstract

Message Queuing Telemetry Transport is a client-server publish-subscribe protocol used for M2M communication in IoT environments. The present report aims at the analysis of protocol communication principles and protocol structure yielding to design a simplified MQTT parser and IPFIX extension providing MQTT specific attributes in Netflow records.
