Original Abstract

Resolution of medical images is an important factor when creating computational model. In vivo based methods are influenced by the time difficulty and patient cooperation (movements, health problems, ...) which results in an insufficient resolution or nearly depreciation of some images. This may lead to a dicrease in the computational model level. This study was designed to investigate an influence of a transversal (slice thickness) resolution of a carotid atheroma model with use of ex vivo high resolution MRI.
