Original Abstract

The paper deals with the seismic response analysis of a panel building structure. Technical seismicity due to mining activities is considered. Design or reconstruction of panel buildings in mining areas should be based on a reliable seismic response analysis requiring a complex computation model. Problems related to the development of such a model involving soil-structure interaction are discussed. Seismic response of the structure to excitation described by a recorded accelererogram is shown.
