Original Abstract

The experiments were completed on the pilot plant scrubber equipped with spiral PTFE nozzle. The device was developed in cooperation with process engineering company MVB Opava s.r.o. from Czech Republic. The pilot plant scrubber was developed as a special type of the mass transfer device with respect to the lesser pressure drop, better cost effectiveness, simpler maintenance, higher volume flow rate than other mass transfer devices. Design of the liquid scrubber allows work under steady and unsteady conditions.
