Original Abstract

Self Compacting Concrete is at the present time exceptionally placed in medium with cyclic frost effect or as the case may be in combination with the effect of chemical defrosting substances. The possibilities of aerated concrete are utilized for this concrete in practice for securing its durability. The aeration of SCC is not too widespread at the present time. The paper describes the experience with aerated SCC and with testing the frost resistance of this material and its resistance to chemical defrosting substances, including the workability time spacing-factor and the resulting physico-mechanical properties.
