Original Abstract

This paper deals with the issue of renovation, reconstruction and rehabilitation of outdoor dance floors, which form the center of the cultural center of most Moravian villages. This is a place called colloquially as "solo". Many municipalities have already faced this problem, so we can show the final solution in some cases. The most frequent rehabilitation of the old formations is the upgrading of the terrain, the creation of a new bearing subsoil, in our case with the abundant use of recycled concrete as well as the aggregate with a concrete slab reinforced by steel wires and surface treatment. Although the composition is very close to the industrial design, it is very suitable for the needs because of the greater degree of abrasion, hardness, higher impact resistance and increased resistance to liquids.

Keywords

rural outdoor dance floor, subsoil, tradition, recycled concrete, lightweight dynamic slab, static load test.
