Original Abstract

The cure of the younger patients with disease of the hip joint is difficult clinical problem. The most common cause of prostheses failure is aseptic or mechanical loosening. A critical place is the connection between the prosthesis and the bone. Therefore, the aim of this contribution is to perform the stress strain analysis of hip joint with the surface replacement for variety of the interfaces between the prosthesis and the bone using ANSYS 6.1 and to compare results.
