Original Abstract

The paper deals with the problems of testing specific structural details, which have been designed and investigated within the projects of applied research, development and innovations, oriented to the development of new types of temporary steel footbridges or bridges. In connection with the usability and serviceability of temporary bridge structures, the attention has been mainly paid to assembly joints. The paper is namely focused on testing methods and evaluation of test results. The paper presents an overview of static and fatigue loading tests of assembly joints performed, including their results, especially focusing on the and elaboration of test results, and also with regards to the application in practice.
