Original Abstract

The influence of SiC content in UO2 on the thermal conductivity is discussed under the assumption, that 5 or 10 %v SiC, respectively, is introducet into UO2 matrix. The influence is presented in the form of temperature profileof light water reactor fuel during burn up. Apart from other articles, the influence of radiation damage on SiC thermal conductivity is covered also.
