Original Abstract

Biopolymer hyaluronan perfectly fulfils the requirements of carrier systems in drug delivery medicine. It is predominantly hydrophilic but also contains hydrophobic places. By drying method these areas were open for hydrophobic solutes. As model of hydrophobic substances fluorescence probes were used. Efficiency of creation of the interaction was studied by fluorescence spectroscopy – steady state and time-resolved. Both fluorescence methods yielded results of which the method appears to be successful.
