Original Abstract

The paper deals with the experimental investigation of operating parameters of solar air collectors, installed in an experimental building in Podoli u Brna. The interest was focused on evaluation of energy efficiency. A data acquisition system has been installed for monitoring of thermal and weather conditions. The thermal gains determined from airflow rates and temperature increase were compared with impacting solar radiation. The relatively high efficiency of solar energy utilization in range of 30-80 %, depending on type of absorption film, was established by this way.
