Original Abstract

This contribution describes deterministic and reliability based optimization. The target function is defined as multi-criterion problem and includes not only cost of the designed structure, but stiffness of selected parts of structure as well as the some emissions and consumed energy not only for realization but also for whole life cycle of the designed structure. The restrictive conditions that define the range of allowable solutions from the mathematical viewpoint express the relations derived from the equations of equilibrium (solution of a structure with finite element method), from the conditions of reliability of reinforced concrete structure and from continuity of deformations. Solved examples for both optimization methods of concrete structure are described.
