Original Abstract

Based on our former experience with an one-element doping, simultaneous incorporation of the selected elements into brucite type lattice of nickel hydroxide appears to be suitable solution for fulfilment of purpose to make alpha phase be stable in a strong alkaline electrolyte during charge-discharge cycling. Set of new samples was prepared under optimized synthesis conditions and these samples were electrochemically tested.

Keywords

alkaline accumulators, cathodic active material, crystalographic modifications of nickel hydroxide, transformation tendency of alpha to beta phase, inhibition methods of irreversible phase changes, doped LDH crystal lattice.
