Experimentální lineární osa byla navržena k testování a ověřování účinnosti mechanismu s kuličkovým šroubem a maticí ve dvou variantách: se zdvojenými pohony s jedním pohonem (konvenční řešení) Experimentální osa je osazena pohony i řídícím systémem od firmy Beckhoff.
