In former times the most frequently used and oldest technology of construction were stone or brick-built masonry constructions. This type of structures can be finding in all possible regions, from constructions of civil and industrial until up bridge constructions. In recent years, it has become evident that some building constructions do not satisfy criteria of carrying capacity and are disturbed with cracks. And just one from methods of increasing of load-bearing capacity and residual serviceability of load-bearing elements in brick construction is application of additional external reinforcement.
