Original Abstract

FPGA circuits were very well improved during next years. Today FPGA integrated circuits are very large and powerful programmable systems. They contain millions gates, thousands flip-flops, RAM memory and other macro blocks like multipliers or processors. One of the wide range usages for these devices could be a digital signal processing. It is usual to make digital signal processing using DSP processors in present days, but modern FPGA circuits has several advantages against DSPs. The biggest advantage is possibility to design a full parallel system, which can work very fast. The second advantage hangs together with the first one, FPGA circuits have huge number of input/output pins, which allows parallel data transfer. For example, the Xilinx Spartan-III FPGA has up to 784 I/O pins.
