This contribution investigates the kinetics of the reactions of a printed oxygen indicator for modified atmosphere packaging. The oxygen indicator is based on a similar indicator introduced earlier. The indicator changes its colour when oxygen is present after a previous activation by photocatalytic reduction of a dye in the indicator.
