Original Abstract

The article aims at the understanding of the eimpact of measures leading to higher environmental sustainability on the extant business model of an incumbent manufacturing company in a way of value co-creation with and for the customer. The research question was: How is a business model of an incumbent, business-to-business firm adapted through the inclusion of environmental sustainability measures, with customer`s involvement?
