Experimentální zařízení umožňuje studovat proces tvorby námrazy na vzorcích trolejových vedení a stanovit tribologické vlastnosti kontaktu mezi sběračem a trolejí při aplikaci směsí proti tvorbě námrazy. Zařízení využívá vzorky reálné troleje. Součástí zařízení je klimatická komora uzpůsobená pro simulaci vzniku různých námrazových jevů. Součástí zařízení je dále modul tribometru s komorou pro testy tření a opotřebení kontaktu troleje a sběrače.

Experimental device allows the study of the process of ice formation on samples of catenary wires and determine tribological properties of the contact between pantograph and catenary by a mixture of anti-icing. The device uses the real samples of catenary. The equipment includes a climatic chamber adapted to simulate a variety of icing phenomena. The equipment further includes a module for a tribometer with a test chamber for friction and wear measurement in simulated catenary and pantograph contact.
