Original Abstract

To support eco-urban structures in larger towns, the development of facades covered by vegetation isgrowing and creating widespread urban areas step by step as well as green roofs. Technologies of a greenfacade and living wall systems expanse increasingly and new combination with different vegetation,irrigation systems or supporting structure appears. The research work in the article analyses the livingwall with moss vegetation. The beginning of the research was directed by materials preliminarily evaluatedas suitable for use of prefabricated living wall system. Materials were tested for pH and compared with pHvalues of moss natural growing environment. The research aims possibilities to ensure the most convenientconditions for moss grow on building materials
