Original Abstract

The object of our project is a design and verification of composite elements of defined shape with effective content of carbon particles and fibers. These composites should be able to monitor internal state of selected structural elements in order to eliminate negative effects of loading. As a typical element for laboratory testing there was chosen a concrete column, which was repeatedly subjected to the load by simple pressure with continual monitoring of changes in electrical properties. During the concrete column loading deformation and impedance of integrated composite elements were monitored. The paper closely describes production technology of the model column, measurement carried out during loading and some achieved results.
