Original Abstract

This paper aims to present independent consumer organizations in the Czech Republic. Consumer rights are subjected to national and European law with protection from national state. At the same time there is still a need for non-governmental support of consumer rights. The development in the area of consumer organizations in the Czech Republic is examined. The trust in consumer organization is submitted to a comparison through years and among European countries. A necessity for existence of independent organizations is discussed in the paper.
