Original Abstract

The goal of this project is to characterize and study actual cooling conditions of the “Quette”. To achieve this the laboratory and plant measurements were carried out. For laboratory measurements several test plates from the same material as test plate of plant measurements were created. Based on the experimental measurements new optimal configuration of the cooling system was prepared. The non-homogeneity of water distribution and big pollution of water were the main parameters affecting the optimal configurations of the cooling system.
