Original Abstract

The satellite gravity product 2008 is the result of stacking three independently derived solutions of free air gravity, (from data of satellite altimeter mission), by three different authors; namely GETECHs Ultimate satellite gravity (2005), DNSC (Danish National Space Centrum) DNSC08 and Sandwell and Smith (2008). All three datasets over the continental margins of the world are now of similar general quality and resolution, but they vary from area to area in their accuracy. In our contribution we tried to modify the arranged gravity data by geopotential model EGM08 to calculation of Complete Bouguer Anomaly maps. As example quality of data we present Satellite gravity data from Muglad basin (Sudan) in comparing with ground and satellite data of this one. The better quality represents compiled the Ethiopian Complete Gravity map where world wide topo-correction have been applied.
