Original Abstract

This paper deals with a detailed investigation of the synergic action and mutual interaction of carbon and organic expander on negative lead accumulator electrodes operating under Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) duty in the Partial State of Charge (PSoC) regime. This will contribute to the efforts to increase their cycle life, specific energy and to elucidate the causes of their Premature Capacity Loss (PCL3).
