Original Abstract

The goal of this project was to design an efficient a and fully distributed implementation of a genetic algorithm which searches for an optimal filter reducing random noise in an image. The result is a simulation model (an application prototype) which allows to estimate performance of the algorithm on an architecture with given parameters.
