Monika Konrad is an architect, urban planner, researcher, and strategist; she gained a professional background in studios like OMA and Claus en Kaan Architecten and as a project director at consulting company Strelka KB. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Poznań University of Technology, the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and Lund University. She is an author of numerous urban standards and strategic projects on a citywide scale and a designer of urban and architectural projects in Europe, Asia, and Africa. From 2018 she is the Deputy Director of the Municipal Office of Architecture and Spatial Planning in the City of Warsaw, working on the Warsaw Strategic Masterplan as a chief designer. Monika Konrad is the Extraordinary Professor at the Faculty of Architecture from November 2023.

Professor Konrad is a guarantor of the Joint Masters in Integrative Urban Studies (INUS), a pioneering two-year program designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience necessary to shape the cities of tomorrow. Delivered in partnership by Brno University of Technology, European Humanities University, and the University of Wroclaw, this program offers an unparalleled opportunity to study in three dynamic urban environments: Brno, Vilnius, and Wroclaw.
