Registration is open until 27 February. The first year of the togetHER in tech event at FME and FEEC. | Author: Václav KoníčekFollowing positive feedback last year, the togetHER in tech event, taking place this year not only at BUT but also at five other European institutions, brings another dose of motivation for female high school students interested in modern technologies. Its aim is to support girls and show them that they have a place in technical fields such as nanotechnology, semiconductor technologies, mathematics, or materials engineering. And ideally right at BUT!As part of the full-day programme, participants will join discussions with female students and graduates of Brno University of Technology, who will openly share their paths to studying engineering as well as their professional experiences. The girls will also get a glimpse of university teaching, try working in laboratories and workshops, and have space to ask anything they are curious about in connection with studying technology. A shared lunch at the university canteen will also be included. Thanks to personal experience and direct contact with the university environment, female high school students will gain a clearer idea of what studying technical disciplines can look like in practice, as well as greater confidence in their future study decisions.Register and come experience for one day what it’s like to be a real engineer!Related articles:
