From nanotechnology to civil engineering: BUT has eight new professors

President Petr Pavel has appointed new professors based on recommendations from the scientific councils of universities. Among the 91 honorees who received their letters of appointment on June 1, 2026, during a ceremony at Prague’s Karolinum, are eight individuals from the Brno University of Technology. New professorial titles were awarded to representatives from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and CEITEC BUT. Brno University of Technology was represented at the ceremony by Vice Rector Martin Weiter.
