Brno University of Technology Computer and Information Services Centre was founded in 1959. Now provides services for 30 000 users such as 40km of optical network backbone, 40Gbps of internet connectivity, 500 servers, internal information system with 200 agendas for study, research, operational and ERP SAP.

The Centre has 50 employees, mainly administrators, system architects, programmers, testers and database specialists. The Centre use 2 main datacentres with central UPS, diesel generator and in-rack redundant cooling for energy saving.
