Department of Internationalization

Competence
The department is responsible for:- Management of international relations in the field of university cooperation with partners abroad within the framework of bilateral agreements and university networks,
- in the field of international cooperation, the use of:
- international higher education programmes, in particular those of the European Union,
- international governmental and non-governmental organisations,
- coordinating cooperation with foreign universities and institutions, searching for and connecting BUT to foreign partners,
- managing the agenda of agreements and contracts within the framework of the BUT's foreign relations, monitoring and controlling their implementation, ensuring their updated overview,
- preparing and arranging foreign visits at the Rector's level in cooperation with the Rector's Office,
- managing mobility,
- cooperation with the faculties of the BUT, BUT institutes and other BUT units in creating organisational conditions for sending BUT students and employees and receiving students and employees from other foreign universities,
- providing information for mobility and promoting interest leading to the development of mobility,
- methodical management of the internationalisation of the BUT,
- cooperation with BUT faculties, BUT institutes of higher education and other BUT units on the internationalisation of studies,
- management of the ERASMUS+ programme at the BUT and its coordination in relation to the National Agency for European Educational Programmes,
- analysing and preparing documents on international mobility for the budget proposal,
- cooperation within university networks and alliances: CESAER network and EULiST European University Alliance.
