EDU workshop – the pedagogical skills course concluded another run on December 11, 2025. It demonstrated once again that the development of quality teaching is based on well-thought-out pedagogical work, open sharing of experiences, and a willingness to seek new approaches.

During one semester, participants completed 10 teaching blocks. The course focused on lesson planning, formulating teaching objectives, student assessment, activating methods, communication, working with digital tools, pedagogical leadership, and caring for one's own well-being.

An important part of the course was the emphasis on self-reflection and creating a safe space for open discussion about teaching, the role of the teacher, and professional development. It was this aspect that participants repeatedly perceived as one of the main benefits of the EDU workshop.

The coordinator of the entire course is Martina Repková, who is responsible for its conceptual leadership. The lectures are given by Simona Kramosilová, Josef Remeš, and Marek Lauermann, to whom we owe a big thank you for their professional approach, sharing of practical experience, and support for the active involvement of participants.

The EDU workshop at BUT continues to operate and offers a space for anyone who wants to develop their teaching skills, explore new approaches to teaching, and become part of an academically engaged community.
