Major innovations are created in research laboratories, but they gain real value only when transformed into practically applicable solutions. Technologies, new materials, software, or unique know-how can find applications in industry and society alike. However, they need support to help them cross the boundary between the laboratory and the real world.The Acceleration of support for proof of concept activities at BUT project continues with its third internal call focused on supporting projects with commercial potential and opportunities for the practical application of research and development results.The aim of the project is to help research teams verify the technical feasibility, application potential, and market viability of their technologies, thereby supporting their further development towards cooperation with industry, licensing, or the establishment of spin-off companies. Within the first two calls, a total of 12 sub-projects across various disciplines carried out at BUT have been supported.The third call for proposals is currently open, proposals for subprojects may be submitted until August 31.
