Would you like to experience an adventure while helping others? Students and employees of Brno University of Technology have a unique opportunity to get involved in meaningful international volunteering. The non-profit organization Himalayan Patron is looking for volunteers who will take part in educational projects, workshops, or construction activities at Himalayan schools. Applications can be submitted until the end of January.Himalayan patron seeks volunteers. | Author: Himalayan patronVolunteers who travel with Himalayan Patron can, during fourteen-day stays, join construction projects or contribute their own ideas and creativity through informal education. Together with local children, they can build a cloud chamber, prepare a course in financial literacy, or introduce science in a fun and engaging way. A special form of cooperation is also intended for educators, who can take part in two-month teaching placements in science subjects, computer science, or physical education at Himalayan schools.Interested applicants can apply for volunteering until the end of January. They will then attend two preparatory weekend courses, during which it will be decided whether they are accepted for volunteering and, if so, for which program and to which of the three schools they will travel. The trips themselves most often take place during the summer holidays.
